Christ Is All and In All, S.W. Growing up in a Christian family, I always had a religious concept of being a good, perfect Christian and doing good works for the Lord. For me, preaching the gospel, doing service in the church, or even attending lots of different meetings during the week were things I needed to do to pay Him back. I thought I was a good Christian, and people around me felt that I was a good pattern to the children and young people. Blinded by my religious concept, I totally convinced myself that I was the one who pleased God and who found favor with God. Inwardly, I carried this self-pride with me all the time until I came to the Full-Time Training in Anaheim. The Training really changed my concept and opened my eyes to see what God's real pleasure is. In the Full-Time Training, through the instructors' speaking, gradually I realized that Christ is the only One who can please God (Matthew 3:17), and God only wants Christ (Matthew 17:5-8). There is nothing and no one who can satisfy God except Christ Himself. My good behavior can't satisfy God, my hard working can't make God happy, even my being a perfect Christian can't fulfill God's heart's desire. What God wants is Christ Himself. Therefore, what I need is just to be open, open to God's dispensing. The more of God's dispensing I receive, the more Christ I gain; the more Christ I gain, the more Christ will live in me, through me and with me. Eventually, I will be a man who lives out Christ and even lives Christ (Philippians 1:21). Only when I am able to live Christ can I really express God and make God satisfied. I thank the Lord for the Full-Time Training. This Training not only has helped me see that Christ is all and in all (Colossians 3:11), but also has made me so simple that I only want Christ. No matter what I am going to do, no matter where I am going, I want only Christ. Praise the Lord for Christ who is all and in all! Main | History | Testimonies | Links Copyright © 2002.
